I secretly want red hair. Badly.

Have any of you brunettes made the jump to red hair?

to everyone who helped us put together our mock wedding photo shoot last Thursday.
We anticipate hyping the hell out of all our phenomenal local collaborators when we release the photos, but here’s just a preliminary shout-out to those who donated their time, goods, and services to the campaign. We are truly grateful to…
The Petal Pusher, who decked out The Backyard with amazing floral creations…
Noland’s Cakes, who created a wedding cake for us…
The English Rose, who lent us cake stands for our dessert bar…
Cupid’s Tooth, who let us borrow some old-fashioned soda bottles…
Melanie, Cheryl, and Dawn at Cutt Co. Hair Salon, who collaborated on bridal hair…
Kimberly at Nirvana Spa, who did bridal makeup…
Kelly Boitano, who shot the photographs…
And all friends, co-workers, and family members who lent a hand, supplies, or sanity as we put this thing together in under 2 weeks. You know who you are. We couldn’t have done it without any of you.
Much love.
See how our photo shoot turned out here.
In all our our “wedding” planning, Jenelle and I have been seriously inspired by elements of wood in design. Woodgrain patterns fit the rustic backyard vibe, leafy motifs keep it fresh, and deep brown brings some elegance. I found a beautiful set of old Ralph Lauren butter knives (but ONLY the butter knifes) that had a wood design on the stainless steel handle the other day, and I’m hellbent on searching out a great flatware set with a similar look.
Anyone out there in internet world know of any such thing that won’t break the bank? Bonus points if you have something we can borrow just for our shoot! And bonus points can mean free gifts!
